Our Liquid Soap Soother is the gentlest liquid soap you have ever tried. This organic certified, skin soothing soap contains Saponified Organic Coconut, Olive and Jojoba Oils, Organic Guar Gum Extract, Organic Aloe Vera, Rosemary Extract and is powered by 4 herbs. Like all of the Emily products, it is made for people with sensitive skin and for people who are careful about what they put on their skin. Then it is “super-fatted”. ‘What does that mean?’ you ask. Read on and we’ll explain...
We start with the gentlest organic soap/gel base made of rich, moistening and organic ingredients that will not strip your protective oils or make your skin drier There is absolutely nothing else in our soap base. NO parabens. NO Sodium Laurel or Laureth Sulfate (SLS). NO added color. NO added fragrances.
Then we take more Organic Olive Oil and cook in 4 herbs skin soothing herbs. This herb-infused oil is then added back to our soap base. In traditional soap making, adding extra oils back into soap is called “super-fatting”. It makes for an extra moistening, silky and emollient soap.
We do not know of any other ‘super-fatted’ liquid soap available. It simply is more expensive to make and most manufacturers are afraid that customers will be scared off by a product that settles.
We are just the opposite. We’ve put it in a clear bottle so you can see that ‘super-fatted’ difference. If you let it sit for a while, those extra oils will settle. As it says on the label, “This is a natural product. If it settles, shake it! Shake it! Shake it!”
We are confident that you have never seen or felt a liquid soap this gentle and soothing.
For people with dry skin conditions, soaps can be a huge factor. Most commercial soaps are TROUBLE. They smell and lather well, but they are full of harsh chemicals and fragrances which open your pores up and strip away your natural, protective oils, leaving you drier. Even soaps that are supposedly for ‘sensitive skin’ or for ‘infants’ are often full of harsh chemicals, just in smaller amounts.

For people with sensitive skin conditions we recommend you wash in warm rather than hot water and for a shorter duration. Longer, hot showers are wonderful but they will strip your natural oils and make your skin even drier.

I have had psoriasis my whole life and I have tried all kinds of harsh steroids, topicals, oils, you name it I have even tried a laser light treatment at one point. Nothing has ever worked, until I tried this body wash!! I even use it as shampoo! I was so scared to try it I bought it and let it sit on my bathroom counter for a month. I thought it would break me out like everything else. And to my surprise I couldn't have been more wrong! I can't get over how good my skin is doing. I didn't want to write a review because I was scared it would stop working but it has been two months and we're still going strong, my skin is almost completely clear. I have been using your original skin soother cream on my 9 month old daughter. So I thought I would try the liquid soap for her eczema and very dry and flakey scalp. It worked great! After about one week the dander coming from her scalp was gone! Her skin is softer and less itchy. And her hair is like silk! When the scalp is hydrated, the hair will show it! It is not tear free, but it doesn't seem to really bother my daughter if it accidentally gets in her eyes while bathing. When using the soap, you will get the best results if you use the cream as well. I'm sure this soap it would work great on cradle cap! I just wish I had found this product when my daughter was born. So I tell everyone I know about these great products! My daughters Pediatrician is so impressed with the results from these products, that she is going to order some of the cream for her daughters whom also have bad eczema.
